Dubai Safari Park is one of the best wildlife parks and attractions in Dubai, spanning an area of 119 hectares in Al Warqa 5. It hosts more than 3000 animals in more than 300 species, including 42 endangered species, in six immersive regions inspired by regions around the world. Dubai Safari Park Season 8 opens on 12 October 2026, and reintroduces the whole range of experiences that visitors are fond of, alongside new live shows. 

The park is typically open during the cooler season between October and May, and each year opens with a new season of animal encounters, safaris, and live shows. The best time to visit is early in the morning from 9 am to 11 am when the animals are more active, or at the end of the season in winter.

When Does Dubai Safari Park Season 8 Open?

Dubai Safari Park Season 8 will open on 12 October 2026. The park will be open every day between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, with the last entry to the park at 5:00 pm (although this may change closer to the opening date for Season 8). 

There are six wildlife zones and six safari trips to explore, so it is recommended that you spend approximately 4-5 hours to make the most of what Dubai Safari Park Season 8 has to offer.

The tickets for Dubai Safari Park Season 8 have not been officially announced and will be announced in October 2026 near the opening date. When tickets go on sale, you are advised to book online in order to avoid the lines in front of the gate. 

What Can You Expect at Dubai Safari Park Season 8

Dubai Safari Park has six themed areas; each is a replica of an environment from around the globe. Asian Village offers the chance to see Asian elephants, Asian lions, leopards, and Asian gorillas, whereas African Village has themes and has African elephants, white lions, and gorillas. 

The park features a drive-through safari of cheetahs, tigers, and hippos at Explorer Village and an Arabian desert safari with native UAE wildlife such as the Arabian wolf and Arabian oryx. Kids Farm is made for getting children out there to pet and feed the friendly animals.

Types of Experiences at Dubai Safari Park Season 8

Dubai Safari Park Season 8 provides safari experiences and a variety of animal encounters. The Arabian Desert Safari is a 15-minute eco-vehicle ride through 60,000 sqm of golden dunes, while the Explorer Safari Tour is a 35-minute open-range tour of the park featuring lions, giraffes, elephants and rhinos.

In addition to the safaris, guests can enjoy interactive feeding activities like feeding giraffes (AED 20 – 75), feeding goats (AED 15 – 45) and feeding lemurs (AED 30 – 75). Season 8 will also feature exciting live shows, such as Bird's Kingdom at the Explorer Theater, Echoes of the Wild with otters and raccoons at the Asian Theater, and Sunset Sky Hunters, a birds-of-prey show at Birds of Prey Square. On-site and/or free weekly workshops for children on wildlife and conservation will also likely be there.

How to Reach Dubai Safari Park

There are various ways to reach Dubai Safari Park. 

The RTA Bus #F10 departs from Centerpoint Station every 20 minutes, taking 25 to 30 minutes to reach the park gates. 

Alternatively, for those who prefer to take a cab, RTA Taxis have direct cab stand pickups at Dubai Mall with a travel time of approximately 45 minutes, and the fare will be between AED 60 and 80. 

Visitors taking the Dubai Metro can take the Red Line to reach Centerpoint Station, then take free shuttle buses to the park. 

If you’re travelling by car, you can use the complimentary parking spaces offered on-site, and electric vehicle charging has also been set up at some parking spots.
